Volume Replacement treatments often involve a gel-like substance made from a naturally occurring substance that is already found in your skin. They are used beneath the surface of the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines, soften creases or to enhance facial contours. 

 

As we age the fat pads in the face atrophy, we have decreased production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid as well as bone loss which can result in a more gaunt facial appearance. Facial tissue also begins to thin out, lines become etched around the nose and mouth and cheeks can appear hollow. Volume replacement treatment can replace lost volume to help smooth wrinkles, plump lips, and restore a more youthful appearance. 

 

Rebecca only uses non permanent volume replacement products which can be dissolved if necessary with most lasting between 6 to 24 months dependent on the type of replacement treatment and area treated.
