WRINKLE REDUCTION AFTERCARE
To ensure the best results from your Wrinkle Reduction treatment and to avoid any adverse reactions it is important to follow your aftercare.
Immediately after your treatment you may experience mild tenderness, bruising and small blebs similar to mozzie bites. These common side effects will ease over the next 24 hours however bruising may take up to a week to resolve. Some people will experience tension headaches post wrinkle reduction treatment to the forehead and frown areas, simple
Paracetamol will suffice if needed.

For the following 24-72hrs post your Wrinkle Reduction appointment is it important
to abide by the following:
- Remain upright for 4 hours post
- Do not touch or rub the treated area to ensure the product is not inadvertently moved
which may cause different muscles to be come effected resulting in eye lid/eye brow ptosis.
- For the first night try and sleep on you back to avoid accidentally rubbing the areas on
pillows or bed sheets.

- Avoid alcohol, caffeine and blood thinning medications (if medically cleared) to avoid
further bruising.
- No strenuous exercise, sweating or sauna use for 24 -48 hours
- No facials, peels, skin needling, waxing, face down massages for 2 weeks post your wrinkle reduction treatment
- Avoid makeup for 12 hours over the treated areas, if essential though mineral makeup is best.
- Avoid AHA’s/BHA’s, ie retinols and vitamin c serums for 24hours.
- Wear SPF 50+ each and every day.
You are encouraged to have a follow up appointment at 2 weeks post your appointment to assess the results or to adjust the treatment plan for your next appointment.
